We’ve always had quite the fascination with tree houses, ever since the days of playing fortress as little boys. Thanks to design teams like mmp Architects we can now live our childhood dreams as grown men with projects like the HP Tree House.

This awesome contemporary residence is suspended above the forest floor much like the ones many of us grew up with in our backyards. The project was built around sustainability with the bulk of the construction materials being sustainability harvested or plantation grown timber. To provide most of the power requirements for the dwelling, the residence has been outfitted with solar panels along the flat roof. The central living area is surrounded by a full glass wall which allows guests and residents to fully enjoy the lush landscape.
