They definitely don’t make cars like they used to, which is why several aftermarket brands have begun designing tribute vehicles over the years paying homage to our favorite vehicles from yesterday. The latest to hit the scene is the reimagined Jaguar E-Type dubbed the Growler E.

Created by the Swedish design team at Visualtech, this incredible vehicle has been confirmed for an ultra limited production run set to release this coming summer of 2012. The vehicle is packing a Jaguar XKR sourced 5.0 liter supercharged V8 engine that should put down about 600 horsepower helping this beauty get to 60 miles per hour from a standstill in just under 4 seconds. A car this beautiful, and this limited will set you back in the ballpark of $700,000 all the way to $1.4 million depending on how many units end up being produced.
