Harley-Davidson Dyna ‘Eleanor’ By NCT
The silver lining. It’s more than just a cliche, for some it’s a philosophical outlook on life. And if we had to guess, this is how Austria-based NCT Motorcycles took the disheartening news when Harley-Davidson recently announced they’d be discontinuing the Dyna. Instead, they celebrated the likelihood of the Dyna reaching aftermarket workshops like theirs. Case-in-point, this 2009 FXD Dyna Super Glide the NCT team so elegantly calls “Eleanor.”
For the job, NCT spared no expense and potential upgrade here – beginning with the engine that was overhauled with the exception of the very basics due to its stock 1584cc capacity. However, the tank was a custom job, they removed the stock 49mm forks and replaced them with Showa USD pieces, Öhlins piggyback shocks are now featured out the back, as is an Akrapovič muffler, a Brembo front caliper leads the way, a handsome blue leather seat keeps things comfortable and stylish, a set of Michelin Power Super Moto tires offer enhanced traction atop the asphalt. Finished with a sleek bronze and black paint job, Eleanor is surely a showcase item NCT can show off with pride. Long live the Dyna. [H/T: BikeExif]
