2007 Triumph Speed Triple “Frank” by Classified Moto

For the second year in a row Rebel Yell Bourbon reached out to the good folk over at Classified Moto to build a series of bikes to be presented at Sturgis. This year, however, Rebel Yell didn’t provide any guidance into what Classified should build for the annual South Dakota Rally. So, they decided to do what they do best – build out a beastly post-apocalyptic dirt duster straight out of Mad Max.

Aside from it’s “beautifully ugly” aesthetic, what stands out most on Frank is the monstrous 11-inch wide ATV tire at the rear. And what seemed like a fun and interesting idea at first soon turned into a mountain of work seeing how the Classified crew had to fabricate a fully custom, Chromoly, single-sided swing arm to accommodate the thing. Other aspects of the Triumph Speed Triple 1050 donor bike – including the front end, front wheel and brakes – were left intact. Frank also now boasts a custom exhaust, custom upholstered seat, a DID gold X-ring chain and a Progressive Suspension 465 Series rear shock. Not sure if it’s street legal or not. Then again, not sure if that even matters at this point.
