It took almost 18 months to design and build this off-road menace out of a 2007 Jeep Wrangler JK but clearly all that hard work paid off for the good folk over at Martin Barkey Racing Products. And you don’t have to look twice to understand the goal here: that is, destroy and conquer everything in its path. Actually, it’s the RattleTrap’s sole purpose.
Under the hood of this monster rests a Twin Turbo 5.9-liter 12-valve Cummins engine capable of pushing out over 500 ponies and 1,000 ft-lbs of torque. She’s built for the outback no doubt, considering the RattleTrap rides atop a set of mean 44×19.5″ Pit Bull Rocker Tires. The body of the original JK was also lengthened while the frame was stretched and widened to accommodate such power under the hood. The ride features a myriad of additional upgrades as well including River Raider tube fenders, a custom roof, an Off Camber Fabrications bumper featuring a 9500lbs Ramsey winch, and a body finished in a Line-X body spray. Inside the RattleTrap four racing bucket seats present themselves along with an interior roll cage, a lockable handgun case under the steering wheel, and a shotgun holder in the back. Ready for the apocalypse? We think so, and she can be all yours for $225,000. [H/T: BlessThisStuff]
