Jeep Wrangler SRT10
Sleeper is a tag given to cars that have an unassuming street appeal but blow fire under the hood. It is not often that we see a 4×4 that falls into this category, but this humble looking 2005 Jeep Wrangler is definitely going to blow some minds with its Dodge Viper V10 howling away from a stop light.
Customization runs deep in Jeep’s 75 year heritage, but Dan Mckeag and the squad at Dakota Customs like to push the limits with their Jeep designs. When he decided to squeeze a 8.3L Dodge V10 into the cavity that a 4.0L inline six cylinder originally called home, we could tell Dan was off his rocker on this build. The Viper motor was then hooked up to a beefy automatic transmission, which crams power to custom built drive shafts and heavy duty axles. A long travel suspension kit was added and an extra 1-inch body lift was needed for the massive powertrain to clear in the new housing. Rounded off by massive SRT10 brakes to get the 500+ ponies under control, this my be the baddest Jeep around.
