Europa G.Wagen is a custom Mercedes manufacturer in Santa Fe, New Mexico. They believe that the Mercedes Gelaendewagen is the ultimate all-terrain vehicle, and they dedicate themselves to further honing the near-perfect car, and enhancing its inner beauty. The 1999 Mercedes-Benz G500 SWB Europa, now up for auction, is an exemplar of this noble mission.

The standard late ’90s Mercedes G-Class comes with a V8 engine that generates around 300 HP, and that much has remained the same. The 5.0-liter, 24-valve V8 links to a 5-speed automatic transmission which powers all four wheels, for off-raoding and overlanding capabilities. With brand new powder-coated wheels from the original manufacturer, a short wheel base, red painted calipers, tinted windows, and a new stereo with USB connectivity, this G-wagen has received some welcome modernizations. Around 91,000 miles since it left the dealer, this car is still nearly unblemished, and comes with all the factory accoutrement that car collectors desire, such as original manual and keys.

Purchase: $40,000+
