Supercars have been a part of the automotive history since the early 1920’s, but arguably their heyday did not come until the 80’s, as the convergence of technology and innovative design pushed machines to breakthrough levels. Though many of these cars never saw a public highway for homologation concerns, one enthusiast was able to work the system and gain access for this beautiful 1985 Porsche 911 Turbo Slantnose, now being sold in Atlanta, GA.

Early life for this premium example started by being brought into the states immediately in 1985, before being sold to an NFL player for a short stint, then ended up in the hands of the current owner in ‘95. Prior to the latest acquisition, RUF Auto got their hands on the Slantnose and worked some magic on the speedster, swapping in a dogleg five-speed gearbox, white background gauges, and intercooler/intake system. A more recent run-through saw a complete engine rebuild for the 3.3-Liter, before upgrading the turbo, waste gate and fuel system, then a stainless B&B exhaust was bolted up. With the odometer showing just 72K miles, this matching serial 911 Turbo Slantnose has a long fun life ahead of itself.

Purchase: $87,900
