1982 Yamaha Virago XV 920 Custom by Shed Built Bikes

Over the past few years, Yamaha Virago’s popularity has absolutely sky rocketed on the custom bike scene, and there are no signs of slowing down.  We have seen quite a few beauties from customizers like Eric Meglasson and of course Doc’s Chops, and now we can add another one to the list.

This 1982 Yamaha Virago XV 920 Chopper was designed by Michiel and fellow builder Vincent Verdouw from Shed Built Bikes.  Other than the wheels, everything else has been swapped out, and on an “ultra low budget” as well. The low budget may have worked in their favor though, causing the team to get a bit creative with the design elements. The overall feel is actually quite nice, and has a bit of Steampunk inspiration to it.
