The year was 1967 when the Ford Escort Mark 1 was introduced to the U.K. before quickly taking off as one of the more successful rally cars to date. Now for those interested in a blast from the past, here’s a pristine1974 Ford Escort get your mouth watering.

This bad boy has been completely restored and reinforced with a lightweight Group 4 body, a fiberglass hood and trunk, dry sump, ZF 5-Speed gearbox and Monte Carlo AP brakes. Under the hood, you’ll find a modern marvel of Julian Godfrey Engineering with a correct 2-liter FIA racing engine putting out 206hp. The Escort also boasts a rear-wheel drivetrain, hydraulic handbrake, reinforced AP Racing clutch, and an automatic extinguisher in case you push this little rally car a little too hard. Oh yeah, and since its restoration, this Ford has only seen two hours of usage. Some of which can be witnessed in the video below. Pricing is available upon request. [Purchase]
