1972 Honda CB250 ‘ROYT’ By Hookie Co
Visionaries, gearheads, artists of nostalgia. It’s no secret Germany-based Hookie Co has the aftermarket motorcycle world down pat. And with souped-up modern takes on such classic cafe-racer-inspired rides like the Honda CB250, we can’t help but drool a bit when they release such clean monochromatic projects like old ‘ROYT’ that we see here.
Starting with what must have been a subpar engine, the good folk over at Hookie Co took matters into their own hands by completely rebuilding the engine and fabricating a custom stainless short muffler to help her breathe. Additionally, the frame was cleaned up via a shortened rear frame and a now hidden battery box while a custom seat with seat cowl and modded-out gas tank add the finishing touches to ‘ROYT’ in spectacular fashion. We also find the front suspension has been lowered and now complete with custom spacers, Progressive springs, Motogadget accessories to pepper the dash, a JW Speaker LED headlight to keep things illuminated come nightfall, and Firestone Champion Deluxe tires that wrap handsomely around Avon Speedmaster MKII wheels for good measure.
