The Scrambled Duke By Wreckless Motorcycles
Wreckless Motorcycles is a custom house that swallows up Ducati motorcycles of the ’60s and ’70s, and spits out modern custom machines that shatter the mold and promise to thrill. That’s just what they’ve done with their latest build, a 1970 Ducati 350 Scrambler that they’ve restored to its ample original glory, and then some. The Scrambled Duke is a modern, brain-scrambling custom Ducati.
The Ducatis of old were par excellence, but everything can be upgraded. Such is the motto at Wreckless Motorcycles, and they put their mission statement to work with their most recent project. While maintaining key elements from the original build – like the classic black and yellow livery – The Scrambled Duke has been thoroughly modernized. New fork legs and rims outfit the beast while the wheelbase has been elongated by 40 millimeters, giving the SD a slightly more agile stance. A new DellOrto carburetor has been installed and the engine has been totally overhauled, turned into a single cylinder that produces 24 HP. A new Beringer front-wheel brake system and Renthal handlebars and grips have been added as well, bringing this vintage bike up to modern standards. [H/T: CraftRad]
