While we love a good looking mint-condition classic vehicle, there’s also something to be said for the wear and tear a car or truck can acquire over the course of its life. Sure, it’s not going to necessarily be a showpiece with some battle damage, but it serves as a reminder that it lived a long and storied life. And that’s what got us so excited about the Patina 1969 Ford Bronco from Classic Ford Broncos: it’s got battle scars.
Although the paint job is new, the worn-down look of this badass SUV is intended to replicate the sun damage caused by sitting in the Arizona desert for 30 years. But don’t let the outside fool you – under the hood, this pony is as clean as they come. It’s loaded with a 5.7-liter Ford Racing 347 stroker engine and a 4R70W transmission – allowing Patina to pump out 575 horsepower. She’s also lifted with a 3.5″ Bilstein suspension, fitted with four BFG mud terrain tires, has a Vintage Air A/C unit, a removable soft top, and is loaded with one of Classic Ford Broncos’ custom stereo systems. All told, this is a top notch job on a classic off-road vehicle.
