Finding a unique old school muscle car is a difficult task, even by North America’s standards. That’s why this jaw-dropping 1969 Chevy Camaro is such an interesting project: it’s a beautiful rendition of one of our hemisphere’s finest vintage vehicles; it’s built by Ringbrothers, one of the country’s most prolific shops; and yet, it won’t make its home on American soil.
The 1969 Chevy Camaro “Valkyrja” is yet another awe-inspiring build from the Ring brothers, and for one lucky client in Belgium, the powerful classic will become the perfect weekend warrior. Inevitably, the vehicle has garnered severe acclaim since it was revealed at this year’s SEMA convention, captivating onlookers with its carbon fiber components, 3D-printed parts, and undeniably unique aesthetic. But the exterior of the vehicle isn’t the only thing that stands out — the Rings have opted to introduce a powerful, albeit tame, 416-cubic-inch LS3 V8 engine into the mix. This, coupled with a 2.9-liter Whipple-supplied supercharger, will bring the vehicle to around 890 horsepower. To transfer the engine’s power to the blacktop, a Bowler-tuned Tremec six-speed manual gearbox and Detroit Speed suspension keep the vehicle operating as it should. To round out the Valkyrja, an attractive TOTOPKG Green paint job has been added, giving the vehicle an aura of vintage character.
