Even (or maybe especially) after the introduction of the new Ford Bronco, the popularity and value of classic Broncos have gone through the roof. It seems that auto enthusiasts can’t get enough of restored examples of the Blue Oval’s original SUV, especially when said restorations do something exciting and different. And that’s exactly what we have with the “Patina Bronco” restomod from Venice, CA-based ASC Bronco.
When ASC Bronco found this 1967 Ford Bronco in Las Vegas, they were enamored with the truck’s rusted exterior — so much so, in fact, that they opted not to paint over it during their restoration. Just about everything else on the off-roader was upgraded, though, and the list of modifications is extensive. A Ford Coyote 5.0L V8 crate engine was installed with color-matched covers and hand pinstriped lettering. The looker of an engine, which is mated to a six-speed 6R80 automatic transmission, puts out 359 horsepower and 340 lb.-ft. of torque. A Wild Horses 2.5” suspension lift has been added, along with an additional 1” body lift. The striking 18” custom wheels are powder-coated in Wimbledon White and wrapped with BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires. The interior has undergone quite the makeover as well, with a gorgeous full distressed leather interior with matching details throughout the cabin, rearview mirror with embedded backup camera display, Dakota Digital RTX gauge cluster, Retrosound factory-style radio with Bluetooth, and premium Focal sound system.
The 1967 Ford Bronco Patina offers the best of both worlds when it comes to retromods, with its weathered barn-find looks gelling perfectly with its power upgrade and modern luxuries. ASC Bronco is selling the Patina Bronco for $185,000, and interested parties can schedule a test drive at the builders’ website.
