Racking up years of experience restoring vintage Land Cruisers, The FJ Company has perfected the art of reviving antiquated machinery. Their latest 1964 Land Cruiser FJ45LV is a handsome surf wagon ready to cruise the California coast.
The vehicle has grooved side panels and a distant rear overhang made by Gifu Body Co. Ltd., and a body that’s 100% original Toyota. One of only a thousand Land Cruisers from this generation shipped to the United States, this beauty was repainted with a rustic green shade, wearing 31-inch all-terrain tires with chrome hubcaps. Pop the hood and find a Toyota 1GR-FE V6 engine, generating 240 horsepower ready to help you cruise through Southern California to search for the perfect wave. It’s also packing Old Man Emu shocks and leaf springs, a stainless steel exhaust system, and a custom fuel system. Taking a look inside, the beach cruiser has custom brown ‘CocoMats,’ a brown vinyl interior trim, ‘Recardo Specialist’ seats, and ‘VintageAir’ air vents integrated into the dash. To help get the party started at the beach, this vehicle has JL Audio component speakers, a JL Audio amplifier, and a 10-inch subwoofer set in the rear cargo space. Get a hold of The FJ Company to start building your very own surf wagon.
