1949 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible ‘Cad Attack’
One of the world’s most unique Cadillacs will soon be auctioned off, and what a sight to behold it is. This 1949 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible ‘Cad Attack’ was built by renowned customizer Greg Westbury for his father, and any papa would’ve been as proud as a peacock to see the way this post-war coupe was transformed.
Almost everything was tinkered with or replaced, including the spectacular hand-crafted body, one-piece custom windshield, single blade custom grille, Mercedes-Benz headlamps, ’91 Cadillac tail lamps, and ’56 Chevy front and rear bumpers with an integrated license plate holder. Under the hood is a 400 hp V8 engine connected to a 700-R4 automatic transmission, and one lucky person will be riding on 18-inch and 20-inch Foose wheels wrapped in Z-rated BFGoodrich tires. Other enhancements include modified wheel arches, panel gap alterations, and an extended hood. [Purchase]
