Designed by Fritz Fiedler, this gorgeous vintage race car was produced between 1936 and 1940. The 1940 BMW 328 Roadster was the king of motor racing in Europe and one of the legendary cars of its time. Now is your chance to own the sleek 328 if you have the funds to sit behind the wheel.

The 328 hit the automotive scene at the Eifelrennen race in 1936 at Nurburgring, winning the 2.0-liter class with Ernst Henne in the driver’s seat. It went on to capture over 100 class wins in 1937, including the RAC Tourist Trophy and the La Turbie Hillclimb. It also came out victorious in its class at the 1938 Mille Miglia. The vehicle features a super light aluminum body by Touring of Milan, benefiting from the use of Superleggera construction. Superleggera bodies can be found on some famous classic vehicles, including the DB series Aston Martins and early Ferraris, such as the 212. This charming vehicle would easily be one of the crown jewels in any serious car aficionado’s collection.
