$1.5 Million Ferris Bueller Ferrari House
Even though it’s been over 25 years since the 1986 release of the classic comedy Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, we will never forget Cameron’s badass glass house (the one where he accidentally knocked the Ferrari off the jack, sending it right into the ravine out back).
We’ve always dreamed of owning that house, and now our dreams can become a reality. Well, once we figure out how to come up with the $1.5 million asking price. There is a bit of good news for potential buyers though. While the price tag may be out of our range, it is down a bit from the original $1.65 million price it hit the market with back in 2011. The property is located in Highland Park, Illinois, and consists of 2 separate buildings (one of which being the iconic garage of course). The four bedroom, four bath home was originally designed by A. James Speye back in 1953 (the outbuilding was designed by David Haid), and spans 5,300 square feet.
