Harley-Davidson Sportster Series

As an American legacy brand, Harley-Davidson needs no introduction. They’ve been in the game for awhile now building sleds that bleed red, white and blue through and through. The kicker, however, has been – up until now – the price tag. Fortunately, the American brand is slated to release two factory models in the more affordable price bracket for new buyers.

Serving as two new additions to storied Harley-Davidson Sportster Series, the Sportster Forty Eight Special and the Sportster Iron 1200 both feature an authentic throwback appearance coupled with a 1200cc Evolution V-Twin engine at their core. The Forty-Eight, in particular, boasts a redone front end complete with 49mm front forks, Tallboy handlebars, large triple clamps, and a slammed speedo resulting in a bold bulldog stance. As for the Iron 1200, it features a sleek blacked-out finish, a cafe solo seat, mini-ape handlebars for some added attitude, and a fixed speed black screen. Both ride atop 9-spoke cast aluminum wheels – which are split on the Forty-Eight – and are infinitely customizable to boot. Prices start at $11,299 for the Forty-Eight and $10,000 for the Iron 1200.
