2019 Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus Baja Boot

For those unfamiliar, the Baja Boot is a now-legendary off-road buggy of which only two were ever made. One was owned by Steve McQueen before falling into the hands of James Glickenhaus – the madman behind racing startup, Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus. Now, SCG is reviving the Baja Boot as an amphibious all-terrain monster.

As if recreating this legendary off-roader isn’t cool enough, SCG is looking to put a little extra fire into this badass vehicle. In fact, they are building a version that can not only tackle just about any earthen terrain, but also has the ability to cross the ocean via the Bering Strait (with the help of catamaran attachments and an outboard motor), which it will do whilst driving from New York to Paris in 2020. It’s also set to compete in the 2019 Baja 1000 and will ascend a more than 4 mile high volcano in the Andes. Best part is, this beastly 4×4 5-liter V8 powerhouse will also be available for purchase to the tune of $250,000 for a 2-door and $275,000 for the 4-door.
