Hasselblad H6D-400C Multi-Shot Camera

There are cameras, and then there are Hasselblads. The nearly 200-year old Swedish image making company produces machines that capture such an astonishing amount of detail that they truly deserve to be in a category of their own. Their most recent device? The 400 megapixel Hasselblad H6D-400C MS.

The behemoth of a camera boasts all the same functionality and features you’d come across on their single-shot system – a 100 megapixel CMOS sensor, 4K video, dual media card slots, and a modular add-on system – but with the ability to take 400 megapixel shots. This is thanks to a special type of technology developed by Hasselblad that actually shifts the sensor around, exposing each portion of a pixel, R,G,G, and B, to light. This means that the color and light values a photographer is picking up are real, not calculated as they are with single shot models. Images made by this camera are so full of information that they measure in at 2.4GB in size. From what we can tell, this camera doesn’t come with extra external hard drives.
