If you were a rock star in the 1960s and 1970s, you would’ve bought one, too. The Aston Martin DB5 was, and in many ways still is, one of the best sports cars ever built and Led Zeppelin’s lead singer Robert Plant knew it.
The vehicle was built in 1965 and bought by Plant in the early ‘70s. Plant kept the car until 1986 when he sold it to a couple of collectors in the West Midlands where it was restored to original condition. The car remained in that line of ownership until 2008 when it was picked up by the owner of London-based Aston Martin dealer. Now, the DOHC straight six-powered classic is going up for sale and set to Ramble On into the sunset with one lucky owner.
