1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am SE

Today when most of us think of a 70s-era Pontiac Trans Am, our minds immediately drift to the famed ride featured in the ’77 classic Smokey and the Bandit. And yes, while our hero Burt Reynolds is a proper fit for this sweet ride, it’s worth noting the Trans Am is so much more than a Hollywood staple.

Case-in-point, this ’79 beauty with an odometer reading of just 65 miles – making it off-the-lot new. Needless to say, the Pontiac still boasts its original 6.6-liter L80 V8 under the glamorous hood that’s adorned in special edition decals. You’ll also find the original GM Turbo-Hydramatic 350 3-speed auto transmission intact along, with its Velour interior and starlight black paint on the outside. It also features a WS6 suspension with iconic 15-inch snowflake wheels, dual mufflers, and all the original documentation to prove it’s worth of over $159,900.
