Style Guide: 4th of July

If you love summer, then chances are you love the 4th of July. Grilling, swimming, fireworks, and cold beers are as much staples of the holiday as they are of the season itself. As a result, preparing to celebrate our country’s independence (241 years strong, baby), is just as straight forward as getting ready for a summer day of fun with friends.

There is no need to go crazy or drop a bunch of cash – a simple t-shirt or camp collar button up, a comfortable pair of shorts, and light shoes go a long way. If you can get them in red white and blue, all the better. We’ve assembled what we see as an ideal outfit for a day spent by the pool, or on the beach with friends. Whether these specific pieces stand out to you or they give you a few ideas of your own – we hope you have a great, stylish 4th of July.

Cutwater Spirits Bloody Mary

As far as 4th of July beverages go, the canned cocktails from Cutwater Spirits are a solid way to go. The San Diego based brand has a large number of cocktails ready for enjoying by the grill, at the pool, or on the beach. One of our favorites is most definitely their Bloody Mary. The drink is made with Fugu Vodka and the distillers own bloody mary mix and boasts a 10 percent ABV.
