While we have plenty of beef with the decade that gave us disco, not everything from the 70s was all that bad. Especially when it came to the popularization of vehicle-based culture. As a celebration of that, DMD has introduced a new throwback design for their Seventy Five motorcycle helmet called Waves.
This iconic helmet, with its unique gradient line design, wouldn’t look out of place on a dirt motocross track in 1977. But it isn’t marred by the lax safety standards of that time, either. This modern dome protector, in fact, is DOT and ECE safety certified thanks to its kevlar/carbon shell and secure double chin strap. It also features a removable washable liner for when the insides get a little ripe. And, perhaps best of all, its construction allows for the use of most bike goggles and even has snaps for removable visors. If you need a motorcycle helmet and you want a little retro style mixed in, $433 will buy you this excellent option.
