Every year to celebrate the spring season, the National Park Service provides completely free access for what they call National Park Week. This year Victorinox is celebrating alongside the century old service with their limited edition Victorinox X National Park Foundation Swiss Army Knife.
The two knives, the Camper and the Classic knife, are being released in limited numbers as part of a fundraising campaign for the National Park Foundation. Victorinox Swiss Army is planning to donate $25,000 to the NPF this year to the NPF, and the sale of these two special edition knives is intended to help support that gift. The graphics on these tools won’t change their basic operation, the Camper will still boast a saw, bottle opener, knife, corkscrew and more, while the Classic will still only offer up scissors, a knife, and file. While it’s nearly impossible for a pocket knife to do justice to the real dramatic character of these unique parks, they’re still nice keepsakes and will generate proceeds for a worthy cause.
