DJI Phantom 4 Advanced Drone

DJI has been one of the leaders in the world of out-of-the-box consumer drones ever since they released their first remote-controlled flyer. And to this day, the Phantom-line remains one of the most popular in the world. Unfortunately, the brand has decided to discontinue their baseline model. Don’t fret, though, because they’re replacing it with something better: the Phantom 4 Advanced.

Starting at $50 less than its predecessor, this new entry-level aerial bot offers some better tech. For starters, it’s equipped with a 1-inch 20 megapixel sensor and can capture 4K video at 60fps – just like the more expensive Pro version. It’s also equipped for a control range of up to 4.3 miles, can fly for up to 30 minutes, has forward and downward obstacle detection, and comes with the option for an upgraded controller with a built-in 5.5-inch 1080p HD video screen. This new offering retails starting at $1,349.
