We’re suckers for high end watches. Rolex, Omega, Breitling, you name it, we’re likely coveting it. Recently, however, the watch brand that has been really standing out to us has been the comparatively modest Timex. The classic watch company known more for its resilience and tough build than for great design or complications has been teaming up with a whole lot of brands for some really cool collaborations. Their most recent is with Carhartt WIP.
This partnership resulted in a 40mm watch made from a resin case, featuring the classic proprietary Indiglo night light, and an easy set quick date for correcting your watch after those shorter months. We’d be kidding you though if we said the technical specs are the most important part of the watch. What really sets it apart and makes it noteworthy is how the watch incorporates Carhartt WIP’s workwear meets streetwear style. Nowhere is this more evident than on the included nylon strap. The simple addition of a black patch with yellow stitched lettering ties together nicely with the black and yellow watch face . You can strap one on your wrist for for $158. [Purchase]
