Ferrari 812 Superfast

The last time Ferrari produced a vehicle with the moniker ‘Superfast’ was in 1966. That vehicle – the 500 – boasted a top-of-class brake horsepower rating of 400. And that was very impressive for its time. It just doesn’t compare, however, to the car that caused Ferrari to revive its name. The 812 Superfast Berlinetta is, simply put, in a league of its own.

Boasting a brand new 6.5-liter V12 engine, this is the fastest and most powerful factory production car that Ferrari has ever made. In fact, it produces almost 789 horsepower, goes 0-62 in just 2.9 seconds, and has a maximum torque of almost 530 foot-pounds. And it isn’t just fast, it’s also loaded with some new tech. This is the first vehicle to be equipped with the brand’s Electric Power Steering – a technology integrated with the car’s electronic vehicle dynamics controls to exploit its potential and performance to the highest degree. This gorgeous over-the-top speedster will be unveiled in person for the first time ever at this year’s Geneva International Motor Show. And sometime after that we can expect to hear more on how much it will cost. [Purchase]
