Native Mercury Liteknit Runners

We’re sure at some point we’ll get sick of seeing knit uppers on lowtop running shoes. But as of right now? We’re still total stans. Exhibit A: the Mercury Liteknit kicks from Native.

These kicks from the young Vancouver, Canada based brand borrow from the Apollo Moc silhouette, but add in a proprietary Elasticized Liteknit upper. It isn’t like these shoes are breaking ground in any serious way – Nike started using sock-like uppers years ago now – but they sure as hell do look good. Like most all of their low top sneakers these can be worn comfortably sans-socks. Just slip your feet in them and the Superfoam insole and EVA outsole provide just the right amount of comfort and support to keep you going all day. You can pick up a pair in a two toned Jiffy Black/Dublin Rubber, Dublin Grey/Wolf Rubber, or Air Blue/Wolf Rubber. Prices start at $90. [Purchase]
