Leica Q Camera

It’s looking like the folks at Leica have aired it out with the new Leica Q, a full-frame, fixed-lens compact camera that promises the company’s traditional top-tier quality and aesthetics with a wealth of modern features. Of course with a retail price of $4,250, we were expecting to be impressed, and judging by early reviews, the Q gets an A.

This 24-megapixel camera features a fixed, 28mm f/1.7 Summilux lens with ultra-fast auto focus and full macro capability. The German-made build quality is top-notch with a gorgeous aluminum and magnesium alloy frame. Other highlights include a 3″ touchscreen LCD, built-in Wi-Fi, optical image stabilization, and the Leica Q-App for picture sharing made easy. On the video front, the Q can do 1080p at 30 or 60 frames per second. [Purchase]
