It’s called the Blob VB3, but it kinda looks like the thing Robin Williams used to pop out of when he was Mork from Ork. And any housing structure that inspires a Mork and Mindy reference clearly is choosing the less-beaten path. Designed by Belgian architectural firm, dmvA , the Blob is a mobile, space-egg of a house that features a kitchen, bathroom, bed, storage space, and ample lighting.
Opening up the nose of the unit happens automatically and you can use it as kind of a highly-eccentric front porch; nothing to see here folks, keep it moving… I’m just sipping a Sprite, kicking back on my space egg’s front porch. You might be surprised to learn that polyester was the main material used to build the Blob, but at this point, nothing about this creation should surprise you.
