Say the name ‘Sinatra’ to most people and it conjures up a host of images: singer; actor; Rat Packer. But ‘shrewd real estate tycoon’ is not one of them. Maybe it should be. Frank Sinatra‘s self-designed 3,200 square foot New York City penthouse is now on the market for $6 million. Ol’ Blue Eyes designed the condo in 1961 and it served as his main pad through 1972. It was at that point when his vagabond shoes began longing to stray. I’m also guessing he had a couple of women over during those 11 years.

We’re talking four bedrooms, six bathrooms, molded ceilings, and wrap-around terraces that yield dramatic views of the East River (look at, don’t swim in). The latest additions to this sky-high palace include a contemporary glass staircase, marble fireplace, and gourmet kitchen. If you can’t make it there, you can’t make it anywhere.
