In 2010, Greg McEvilly founded his Austin based Kammok brand with the goal to become an outdoor lifestyle brand that would equip and inspire people for life changing adventure. Thus far the brand has introduced two flagship products including the Roo camping hammock and Python straps. Now the brand is gearing up for their next product, the Kammok Glider.
This weather relief shelter is more than just protection from the rain. The Glider is constructed from an innovative material called Amphibiskin, that is not only extremely durable and lightweight, but is also completely weatherproof and heat reflective. While this construction material is a huge feature of the product, it’s this next one that really got us out of our seats. The Glider is equipped with a patent pending built-in rain retention technology, which funnels rain water through natural rain gutters into flexible water bottles. Check out the video below and support the project on Kickstarter.
