We never seemed to outgrow our favorite action figures, and that’s probably why we loved this amazing photo series that sees tiny action figures blown up to real life size, in real life situations.
Created by Ottawa based photographer Daniel Picard, the aptly titled 1:1 Toys series follows some popular toy action figures around town as they cause mischief. These are actual toys you are looking at, but Picard has worked his computer magic on the highly detailed toys to make them look as though they are actually present in the photos. Using Lightroom to remove the photos from his camera, Picard develops the RAW files with DXO, and utilizes Photoshop to convert all the final files. The end result is impressive to say the least, and seeing Batman expose Superman’s true identity is classic. [Via]
