Since their original inception back in the 1949, LEGO bricks have always been constructed from a colorful plastic that’s durable and long lasting, standing the test of time.
The Japanese design firm Mokurokku decided to think outside of the standard plastic box, venturing into a whole new world of LEGOs that sees the popular toy constructed from wood instead of plastic. The same way the plastic ones use different colors, these wooden blocks are constructed using different shades and textures, offering up some amazing possibilities. Each set will come with 50 pieces, and will all work together the same way your standard LEGO building blocks would. [Via]
