Fans of the Nikon D7000 rejoice because the product designers the popular camera company have rolled out the new Nikon D7100, an updated version of the previously mentioned DSLR.

Nikon has been cleaning house over the past 12 months, introducing new and improved versions of some of their outdated cameras. Seeing that the D7000 was three years old, Nikon felt it was time for something new. The 24 mega pixel shooter sees a handful of goodies not found on other cameras within the price range including the much buzzed about 51-point autofocus system. A system that up to this point was only available on a camera nearly 3 times the price, the $3,000 D8000. The D7100 also features uncompressed video freed from the HDMI output, no low pass filter, and a handful of other updates. So how much will Nikon’s new piece set you back? For just the body expect to spend $1,200, and $1,600 coupled with the 18-105 kit lens.
