For those of you that either weren’t around, or don’t remember what the original Macintosh computer looked like, before they were cool enough to go by Macs, artist Chris McVeigh is here to remind us with his LEGO replica model.
When we look at the ultra thin iMacs that are currently being produced by Apple, it’s pretty incredible to see just how far the company has come in the past three decades. Artist Chris McVeigh has recreated an old advertisement for the Macintosh desktop computer built entirely from LEGOs, and has even included the classic “hello” text across the front of the screen. Seeing just how positive the response for his one off has been, McVeigh has decided to offer pre-built models, along with a step by step guide for the do-it yourself crowd out there.
