Art work revolving around human skull molds has crossed our desks a few times in the past, but it doesn’t make the most recent offering from Danish artist Frodo Mikkelsen any less impressive.
Utilizing silver plated human skull molds as the canvas, Mikkelsen has sculpted scenery ranging from cottages and cabins to lush landscapes and trees atop the skulls. Our personal favorite piece from the collection features a cabin perched atop the skull with a massive grizzly bear climbing the face of the skull to reach the unsuspecting guests in their home away from home. The amount of detail in the art work is truly stunning. Check out some of the pieces below.
