The Brazilian based design team at Studio MK27 is responsible for building some of our favorite dwellings out of South America. The team really has a great eye for simple, modern, and innovative design concepts, and they prove that once again with their latest project in the Toblerone House.
The Toblerone Residence is located in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and consists of three horizontal concrete slabs that sandwich the two story home. On the bottom floor lies the social spaces, which have been completely opened up to the natural elements with large floor to ceiling glass windows. The top is a bit more private and secluded, finished off with retractable wood panels that circle the entire property. [Via]
