Although it was created nearly 30 years ago in 1984 by the Soviet Union based programmer Alexey Pajitnov, Tetris remains one of the most iconic and relevant video games of all time. Sure we have moved on to more advanced video games, but Tetris will always remain a classic.
With that being said, what better way can you think of to help pay homage to one of the greatest video games of all time other than lining your entire city with life sized, colorful Tetris blocks. That’s exactly what the design team at Gaffa Gallery did back in 2009 when they filled the entire streets of Abercrombie Lane in Sydney, Australia with these massive, vibrantly colored Tetris blocks.
