Clean and linear are two great descriptions for this narrow, yet open space in Jakarta, Indonesia. The “Satu House” was designed by Chrystalline Artchitect, and is mainly constructed of steel and has a lot of glass elements on the front fascia of the home. Complete with a reflecting pond, wooden floors and floating stairs– there’s enough space in here to wow guests with all of the flawless design and have the comfort of home without the feeling of being in an art gallery.
The interior of this space is also mixing the elements of the outdoors with the open living space, combining greenery with the sophisticated furnishings. The neutral and muted color palette manages to keep things fresh and interesting without coming on too masculine. All in all, the “Satu House” is just a jaw dropping home with a lot of great design details that could go overlooked if the time isn’t taken to soak in all of the built in storage that was thought of, the seamless integration of floor transitions and more.
