When your passion for skateboarding runs as deep as founder of Sole Technologies Pierre Andre Senizergues’ (PAS) does, you’ve got to adapt your living quarters to accommodate your lifeblood. That’s just what PAS is in the process of doing with his under-construction Malibu, CA home.
While PAS has his business obligations as the CEO and founder of Sole (parent company to Etnies, Emerica and eS), he had a vision to be able to skate every single surface in his home. Essentially, leaving no stone unturned and no integration left out between the skateboard and the home. The interior features a stark, mid-century modern appeal keeping it simple on the furniture and sparse on the accessories.
With the enlisted help of architect Francois Perrin and designer Gil Le Bon Delapointe, the duo has created a masterpiece in itself. Complete with skateable kitchen counters to the bed, there is truly nothing else like it. Before the completion of the actual Malibu residence the public will be able to view the full-scale model in Paris until Sunday, August 7th. If you’re unable to get to Paris before then, this video will have to suffice.
