Mark Parker has one of the best jobs in the world representing powerhouse footwear label Nike as their CEO. Mr. Parker is the third CEO for Nike Inc., and took over back in January of 2006 when former CEO William Perez resigned. Mark Parker is the perfect example of someone who started from the bottom and work his way up the corporate ladder, joining Nike back in 1979 as a footwear designer.
You can imagine that after 30 years with Nike, you are sure to own quite a collection of fresh goods, and Mark Parker does not disappoint. Contemporary art and lifestyle publication whitewall has recently produced a special feature with the Nike CEO as part of their 2011 Summer Design Issue. Although they did an excellent interview, we are more concerned with Mark’s office. As you can see from the pictures, it is filled with all sorts of items that Mark has accumulated within his long career at Nike.
Check out all of the snapshots from interview below. You can also purchase the issue here.
