Porsche has finally released the brand new 911 GT3 RS 4.0 limited edition after much anticipation. The new model still utilizes the current 997 chassis coupled with a 4.0 liter naturally aspirated engine that produces the most NA power from a 911 to date -500 horsepower. The vehicle also puts down 339 foot pounds of torque.
The new model Porsche accelerates from 0-60mph in just 3.8 seconds. There were several improvements made to this model including the vehicle weight, brakes, and suspension. The interior also received a nice overhaul with nice touches of carbon fiber found throughout.
The most notable mention for this vehicle is that the 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 ran the Nurburgring in 7 minutes and 27 seconds, which of course makes this one of the fastest production cars to ever run the Nordshleife.
The vehicle will be limited to 600 units, and MSRP is $185,000.
