If there is one word that brings excitement to many of us, that would be Ferrari. Just the sound of it gives me an adrenaline rush. Well now anyone can experience the adrenaline rush Ferrari has to offer on your next trip to Abu Dhabi, the playground for the rich.
Ferrari has built an entire theme park spanning an area that would fit 7 football stadiums. Named “Ferrari World Abu Dhabi”, it is the world’s largest indoor theme park. And that’s not the only world’s largest record this beautifully constructed park holds, it is also home to the world’s largest Ferrari emblem on its roof. The emblem measures 213 feet in length. To put that into perspective, that is about the area of 7 basketball courts combined.
But in all reality, we go to an amusement park for what? Rides, of course! Well Ferrari World contains some of the best. One such being its centerpiece Formula Rossa, the world’s fastest roller coaster. Formula Rossa is clocked at a spine chilling 150 mph. The goal with this coaster is to induce the same G-force as a real Formula 1 driver would experience during an actual race. Of course, this is a family theme park, so Ferrari World has something for the children as well. As a kid we all wanted to drive so badly, so Ferrari World introduces children driving school with kid size Ferrari F430 GT Spiders and a slow paced carousel with Ferrari prototype cars. All this makes me want to hop on a plane to the Middle East kingdom right now.
